With us, your donation reaches its goal directly: except for Magafira, who receives a salary as the Indonesian project coordinator on the Banda Islands, we all work on a voluntary basis. Our administrative costs amount to account and transfer fees, website, minor advertising costs, as well as notary and legal fees to extend the non-profit status and the permits in Indonesia. In the last few years the administrative burden was 3-4% of the donation income.

Donations are of course tax deductible. In Germany, proof of donation has been required for donations of € 300 or more since 2021. We would be happy to issue this to you.
