Since 2010 we have been working to ensure that less plastic waste ends up in the sea. We have been active on the Banda Islands since 2012. Since then we have set up a garbage collection system and are now also collecting garbage from the islands outside. Since 2020 we have been able to send 10 t of plastic waste for recycling ... a large amount that would otherwise have ended up in the sea!
