We recently expanded our school program to include another school. So far we had concentrated on elementary schools, but now we could start with the first secondary school ("SMP"). While participating in our program, schools change their day-to-day lives to stop using disposable plastic. Among other things, we support them in equipping their classrooms and canteens in such a way that no more food or drink is consumed from packaging. The concept is simple but successful.
In the SMP we dared to sew upcycling wallets for the first time with students. This was too complicated for primary school students. Today it went very well and the children had a lot of fun making something new and useful out of plastic packaging. This project is funded by the Lighthouse Foundation. A big thank you at this point to the Lighthouse Foundation, but also to all private donors who support this sustainable project with their donations!
